It seems the samwagon has a guardian angel; I can, for comparatively little cost, replace the brake pipes, indicator bulb, and offside panel in one go.
This is excellent news.
I’ve several lines of attack available; I’ve found a brake pipe replacement kit on ebay for ~£30, I’ve ordered a haynes manual for the car and a scrap merchants just got back to me about supplying the rear panel and pipes for £15. £15. I’ve emailed back asking about the brake pipes and if theres indicator bulbs going.
