Microsoft recently announced a new way to interact with the upcoming release of Windows Vista.

By singing “I’m a Little Teapot”, with the associated actions, Microsoft hopes to encourage a younger generation to use Windows Vista as early as possible.

Demonstrating this method at the CES, Bill Gates said “it will be a refreshing way to work with a computer, especially for pre-school children”.

He added; “We are currently working with Disney and other media companies to create an interface that the target audience will interact with, such as Tigger and Barney the Dinosaur.”

Rumours were rife after this demonstration that Microsoft would delay their release of the long overdue Vista to create an extra version to the six already announced, and the possibility of this new version being called Vista Kiddy.

Responding to these rumours, Mr Gates stated “We have no intention of delaying Vista any longer; this new exciting way to use Windows Vista is a work in progress”.

Microsoft declined to say what requirements were needed for this new software, and whether it would be made available as a download or through a purchased “add on”.
