Looking forward to the holidays
Posted on Fri 08 December 2006 in Uncategorized.
The holidays cannot get here soon enough; I need the rest. Talking with my tutor he stated that “engineering, maths, law and medicinal students have the highest workload out of the university”; yeah, I know, I’m fsckin knackered.
I’m looking forward to installing signalling equipment in the new Brownhills West box [just put up, I’m awaiting some photos of the lift], working on Lapwing-Linux and improving RailMan. Yeah, its geeky, but I don’t care :-p
Considering last years fubar with my car, I’m on the look out for a replacement just in case the MOT is prohibitively expensive, so if anyone knows of a diesel car/van going for less than £300 in the next 2 months, drop a comment or email or something.
Finally, some links to keep you occupied:
I agree with most of it, cept for the cheating bit and the best paragraph:
“While men want an argument to make sense and have a rational conclusion, women solely want the argument itself: it’s a pressure valve for their emotions, and once they get started there is no stopping them.” Yes, that is so damned true.
How to annoy your local Christian fundamentalists: Invite the local Unitarian-Universalists who embrace all religions to join in [OK Ben, Unitarian-Universalists do exist … ]
Open Sourced Car? I’ll get one
And finally: A martian sunset.
Thats all folks!
