A little bit political this post

Labour is facing a "meltdown". I don't think they are. They are facing cataustrophic splits because of the Blair/Brown fight. A meltdown implies everyone is at each other's throats about something and new fights are occuring all the time - this isn't happening.
What is happening is the rift is now extending perpendicular to the main one - Labour is literally cracking up.
I can only hope this happens at an accelerated rate and they fall apart before the next election.
This would mean that the Torys would have (finally) a shot at Government; for the sake of sanity, please no one vote Tory. From the article;
"Tory leader David Cameron urged Tony Blair to ... create a new homeland security minister so the home secretary could sort out the prisoners "mess"."
WTF? The Tory's suddenly go on holiday to the USA and get brainwashed? IMO, voting the Torys in is like gleefully marching over a cliff. [on an aside, www.davethechameleon.com is supposedly funny, but none of the streams work properly in Linux, so sod em

In other news, I've got a cold/fever thing and its fluctuating between ok and bad. This weekend is gonna be fun.
To all the Linux news people; who really cares if Linux is making headway in government/schools/desktop/SOHO/business? I don't. I'm more interested in what new stuff people have come up with, not whether or not people are choosing their OS, its old news.
The new Yahoo Mail Beta really sucks on old comps or slow net connections. Just crashed my XSession [thank god for Livejournals autosave
