Charles Kennedy resigning is a bad thing. A lot of the response online I've read seems to be pro Kennedy, anti Lib-Dem; so much for getting into government.

I sincerely hope that Sir Campbell gets the job, that Kennedy kicks the habit for the next 2/3 years to the next election and stands for Leadership when Campbell looses seats.
Then I hope that the Libs will rally and actually fight the opposition and not themselves.

A renewal quote from my car insurer for 9th January (pre 21 yrs old) (Norwich Union) for 2 years no claims; £434.99

A renewal quote from DirectLine for 22nd January (when I am 21), 0 no claims; £489.24

Norwich Union for the same is just less than £1000

I'm gonna wait till the 22nd methinks. Only £50 more now, but much better in the long run as I will get discounts for being older and supposedly wiser.

So a tip for people; if you want cheap car insurance goto DirectLine for your first year, then goto (maybe) Norwich Union.

Oh yeah, car got through its MOT after ~£500 work on it. Eeek.
